Inspired by =Iris-Zeible ‘s “A Twist in Wonderland” contest, category a. It does not suit its purpose as it fails to depict the design troughfully- might make a refscrap of it on full.
It is just a primary study of it of course- (I don’t know if im getting better at painting or if worse. Experimenting with more express lines colour and mood.)

There are no dogs in wonderland, so the next best thing that could possibly depict this particular character was one of their rabbits (bolt speed- instinct- prey- chase)

I did consider the white rabbit- but he would not serve it well. Notwithstanding how much hed be on the run and initially sought after throughout the tale- he would not agonize over time, or stressed rush.
The character is a redundant vagabond- he’s no where to be at no given time. He lacks common coherence or sense of accountability, specializes in crashing on parties for the food he adores, his hair disarranged- resting on it straw from his last outdoors’ bedding- his skin, many times blemished by dirt. Overall, the deceptive appearance of someone respectful, even civilized- yet of suspicious character, feral as his eerie claws and scratches may claim.
